5 Must-Have Apps to Simplify Your Life

5 Must-Have Apps to Simplify Your Life

Looking to be more productive this year? More organized? But not quite sure how? While the notes app is useful and the reminder app comes in handy, having specialized applications designed

I did my research and have found some apps that I believe are must-haves to both organize and simplify your life:

1. Notion

This app erases the hassle of too many tools, files, lists, charts, tasks and whatever really. Notion offers everything you need from tables, to calendars and checklists; allowing you to link websites, other pages, video, images and codes. It is also available on desktop and in-browser mode.

On my app I have a 2022 Dashboard with subheadings work, life and leisure. On my dashboard you can find my local weather, preferred Apple playlist and My Week Ahead so I can see what's upcoming.

2. Google Drive or DropBox

Those who get it, get it and those who don't, don't. Perfect applications for storing, sharing and collaborating on files and folders from your phone. Content creating taking up a lot of phone space? Save them here. Need to collaborate on large files with a team? Do that here.

With previous photoshoots I have done, I have found the fastest and most secure way is through either of these platforms. I don't have a preference, so choose what works best for you and your team!

3. Stoic

This app is a mental health tracker that helps you become more in tune with yourself through reflective exercises. It offers morning and night time routines, to help you prepare for the day ahead or wind-down after a long day. Some exercises include: journaling, meditation, breather exercises, quotes and some exercises based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).

I really like this app for journaling prompts and quotes. As a reader and writer, it's always good to have a place to release both negative and positive emotions. Stoic provides me with prompts that encourage me to reflect and answer honestly.

4. Raindrop.io

This app is an all-in-one bookmark manager. For all your online searches for clothes, recipes and inspirations, raindrop uses a sleek intuitive platform to store all those items at a glance. You can group your bookmarks in Collections, you can even add tags and filters for more efficient access.

This app is so intuitive, it also takes care of any duplicate or broken links. With many views to choose from, and the ability to create spaces to share with friends or a team, this app can be access both on mobile and on desktop.

5. Unum

This app is your all-in-one design, planning and marketing platform for your most important channels. From your Instagram Feed and Stories to even TikTok and Snapchat, this will keep you organized.

I love it for my Instagram feed to view my personal feed to view aesthetics and if future posts will match. If you create a business account, you can also view and study your insights for better marketing.
